My Baby 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday RJ

Today we celebrated my baby 1st birthday. He has been blessing me for 365 days and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life watching him grow. He is my world and I am so happy to be RJ's Moma.

Camera Time

I have been looking for my camera for about a week and I cannot find it anywhere. I'm sad because I was used to my camera plus I would carry it everywhere. I will be shopping either tonight or tomorrow and getting one for sure. I really need to get an SLR but I'm going to be content with a good point-and-shoot for now.

I Did It!

I walked my mile today, 10 laps in about 25 minutes. I even jogged a little. I am so proud of me. Not only because I walked/jogged the mile but because I did it 2 days in a row. I am on my way to making walking my habit again. I feel better. I am working on drinking my water and losing weigh...I know my style will improve, we all know that it is more clothing choices the smaller you are. I want to drop the pounds not only for fashion but also for my health.

Exercise: in addition to walking, I want to try the P90x. I think I can do it but we will see. I will definitely be reporting on my progress.

Work Out Wednesday

Today was a great day. Before becoming pregnant I would walk 2 miles a day. I stopped walking because the weather changed and I started traveling. Well 2 years later I am proud to say that I started back walking. We have a track at work and I finally decided to hit the track. I timed myself and was proud because I did 4 laps in 8 minutes. I decided that I would do 4 more as a cool down. 8 laps in 20 minutes had me feeling great. Then I decided that I needed to investigate and see just how far each lap was...well to my disappointment, each lap was only .10 miles. I didn't even do a mile. I know now that I have to increase my speed to 1 lap a minute to get in 20 laps and back to walking 2 miles.

Well I will keep you updated on my progress.

Saturday Shopping Trip

I was a little disappointed that I really couldn't find anything I loved, or even liked Saturday. I am in the process of "making over" my wardrobe so shopping is very intense now. I don't want to say the trip was a complete waste, I did add 2 pairs of Coach sneakers, a purse and an umbrella. I am happy with those purchases. Yay, go me.

Guess What?

Today is my shopping/ mini makeover day. I know I'm slightly challenged in the style department so I'm shopping today I will add some new pieces to my wardrobe. I'll be back later with pictures.

I Love Jewelry!!!

I love earrings, short or long, big or small, I like them all.

I love rings; the bigger, the better.

I love bracelets; charms are my favorite, but I am loving the new acrylic one.

I love necklaces; I like long ones so I can layer them.

I love earlaces; I have yet to wear mines.

My favorite piece of jewelry has to be my wedding ring.

This is my new 2nd favorite accessory:
it is a ring with an actually mirror on it. Who would not love wearing a functional piece of jewelry?

Are You Ready For Some FOOTBALL?

I'm not! I am not really a football fan but I am looking forward to attending a couple games this years. I think it is going to be so exciting seeing RJ in all his football gear, taking him to the games and hopefully hearing him cheer and enjoying himself. I cannot wait to find my outwits for the football game.

Welcome

I am excited about beginning this blog. It took me about 2 weeks to decide what to write and share. I am an event planner and owner of Exclusive Affairs (EA) www.exclusiveaffairs.com and www.exclusiveaffairs.blogspot.com. I have not posted on EA's blog since earlier this year but I plan to change that. Okay, back to the reason of this blog. I like pretty things, I know you are probably thinking we all do...lol, I know. I have a desire to surround myself with pretty thing so that is what you will find here.
